New York Fashion week hosted a Barbie Fashion show to celebrate Barbie's 50th Birthday. The collection looked as if Barbie herself was walking down the runway. My favorite of the collection is the all American wrap dress. I feel it resembles so much of what Barbie has done American and the standards of which America was built. I think Barbie is really all American. Barbie resembles fun and excitment and upholding perfection... everything America stands by. This collection comemorates the building of pop culture and the succcess of American culture.
