Fashion Whore

CHECH OUT FASHIONWHORE.ETSY.COM

The lead singer from Cut Throat Kids gave me this leak to this very punky wild rock star Toronto Designer labeling Fashion Whore. Familiar? Participating in Toronto Fashion Week and

This week big sales and big news for any glamazon rock star. I really like this line. Bursting with personality and wearable by anyone. As preppy and strung as I am I would love to wear one of these dresses. They're just so doll like it's fantasic!

Vintage Shopping at Portebellow Market

When I was in England we went to this store strip which had so many amazing vintage shops. This store in particular had some amazing gems. Quite literally every piece was some vintage celeb wear from years back. I loved the atmosphere here. All the houses were painted in the cutest pastels it was like a real life PleasentVille with some added amazing stores.

Of on a Peronsal Style Tangent

I just wanted to say how amazing personal style is. It's so refressing and creative to see how London fashionistas put toghether their looks. There's so much to be said about they confindence and poise that goes along with the vibrance of London style. I really miss Toronto... but Londoners sure now how to make a scene. There all in Hunter Wellies and mix it up with personal edge.

Is It Just Us, Or Was Lady Gaga’s Influence All Over Couture?

It’s ironic that someone who is in a perpetual state of half dress is so strongly influencing fashion. Lady Gaga’s aversion to pants has been well documented, so it’s no surprise to read that the blonde balladeer is responsible for a huge increase in the sales of knickers in Britain. It’s another thing altogether to find allusions to this pop culture omnivore (who is attired by a Warholian gaggle of twentysomethings working under the moniker Haus of Gaga) at the haute couture in Paris. And yet it was hard not to detect a hint of the Gaga effect in Gaultier Paris‘ leg-bearing bodysuits, Christian Lacroix’s sculptural skirts, Givenchy’s dangling chains, and even the pouf-skirted finale dress at Chanel.

V&A- Fashion Museum in London

A few days ago I went to the Fashion Museum in London called the V&A. It was so amazing! There were some older pieces and some of the beginning works of many famoous fashionable faces. In the Last Photo you see work from Prada ans other designers. The clothing showcased the evolution of modern fashion as well as vintage pieces. As fashion lovers it was amazing to see the design process behind all the works. I took like a million pictures so I've have to update with everything soon.
