Jewels Galore

When I was in Portebellow Market in England I visited this amazing jewelry store. It had every vintage piece you could possibly imagine. The displays were amazing! There was just constantly so much to look at I was getting a bit overwhelmed! There are far more pictures but I'll upload tomorrow.

Vintage Shopping at Portebellow Market

When I was in England we went to this store strip which had so many amazing vintage shops. This store in particular had some amazing gems. Quite literally every piece was some vintage celeb wear from years back. I loved the atmosphere here. All the houses were painted in the cutest pastels it was like a real life PleasentVille with some added amazing stores.

Nerd Wear

For those of who don't know what a nerd I am here goes to prove it. I always found Chemistry goggles to be exceptionally adorable but I believe I broke into a whole new sphere of cool when I came up with this chemistry bracelet. I made the individual charms out of sculpy. And after baking the organic families I painted them in blue and attached them like charms to a bracelet.

It was a present for my chemistry teacher Ms. Aunger. She loved it and said it was the best present shes ever gotten. I LOVE IT tooo!

Flower Girl

Like my head band? I made it with some flowers from Michelle's yesterday. I was also making my sisters flower head band for her graduation which was yesterday. I also pulled up this really old gap dress which I bought for like 20$ last summer. It just happened to make the perfect outfit with this head band. The rings are my favorite out of everything! I brought nice hoes with me and then forgot to wear them so I'm just wearing some flats.

Dolce and Gabbana Fall 09

Dolce and Gabbana are so HOT! I love the futuristic broad shoulders! There amazing! There almost Star Trek ish... Going back to the 80s. I think this triangle silhouette is so interesting. In a sense it's redefing the power woman. I think fashion is meeting an age so successful and independent woman. Woman that have presence in a new and ambitous world. But i might totally be reading to far into it...lol. I just love this collection!

Beckerman

Last Friday I went to the Beckerman Event. Visiting their website earlier I was ready for the wildest. These girls (twins Cailliane and Samantha and younger sister Chloe) has a special event to showcase their work in Toronto. As I found my way up to their trendy hot spot I was blown away by how eccentric and wild their line was. They all all graduates of NY Fashion Institute and bring a very unique creative edge to their work. Their collection was also accompanies by a vintage collection were I found many treasure finds.

I loved the hand chosen textiles. There was an incredible dye affect on the coats and this adorable pencil dress. I feel in love instantly with all the pattern choices. I love the jewlery too! My favourite accesory was the specitcle necklace. It was so quirky! I really admire their crafmanship which has gone into each fashion creation. I love their creative vision and look forward to seeing more of what they come up with!

The Jewls

These are some amazing frog inspired jewelry stuff I've been looking at. There from all over the place and cost a fortune but there fun to look at and plan to steel from the luve. I love the eye ball. It's like a spy eye hidden in the diamonds. Then the frogs are so gorgeous cause they look like fairytale pieces. I'm also loving the watch with the lady's face. It's like a little piece of artwork in a watch. Jewl it up ladies. I've got to go shopping for Prom tiaras. I'm in charge of getting the king and queen crowning gear.
