Best Dressed At Prom

This week's best dressed was me and everyone at Prom. We all looked amazing don't you think! Prom was so much fun and I really want to thank my makeup and hair people. I had an amazing time at MAC and Artis getting ready.

The Queen is Crownd

This weekend I went shopping for my high school's Prom King and Queen crowns. I have having a tough time choosing crowns because we were on a bit of a budget but these were some of the best. I liked the pearl ones and the ones that stood taller. I ended up buying the first Tiara. Super excited for PROM! Bought these at Panache.

Master of Disguise

This year O'Neill's Prom theme is the Moulin Rouge. So in tradition of this ever so popular brothel we'll be wearing masks. I had no idea how trendy masks had become. But apparently there everywhere! From hot fashion events to the runways most imaginative.

2 Walking on the dark side at Jean Paul Gaultier.
3 Nina Ricci's hat attack.
4 Net gains at Diesel Black Gold.
5 Sweet as a lamb at Erin Fetherston.

I love the level of theatric that comes along with masks. Maybe this will be the new trend to replace headbands?!! I'm excited to see everyone wearing masks to school lol!

The IT-LIP

Whats the make-up look this spring? Red hot lips! Weather they be blood red of fire orange they will bring out the spring in you. When I see these lips I invision a bright tropical paradise. Unforchunetly there is no such thing in Canada. So the lips will have to keep me in the spring mood! Paired with fairing neutral eyes this look is extravigant in a technically simplisitic way. There are many afordable sollutions for this look such as MAX FUSIA or MAC Cosmetics Lip Taint.

Ride in Style

So I was walking down Kensington Market in Toronto and I spotted this amazingly adorable car! As stocker as it is of me I took a picture... When looking for sweet rides to Prom I'm having some difficulties booking out ideal ride (THE HUMMER H2 LIMO!!!!!!!!!!) and I was just envisioning how beautiful a vintage car would be.

No worries there is no way in hell I'll even consider booking the zebra strip limo. Maybe to pride week... or some crazy party... I'm going to go call limo companies all tomorrow.

I Got My Prom Dress!

This fairy tale princess/ ballerina one is what you'll see me wearing to PROM!!!!!!!!!!!! I definitely got a "this is the most perfect thing in the entire world" feel from this dress.






I got my Prom Dress! I am so happy. After several really unsuccessful days in Toronto looking for dresses I felt super hopeless. I had herd about this legendary Toronto prom dress store called FX. But I was sad to hear it had shut down... Only to reopen as Originals. I was completely lost on what I wanted for Prom, originally wanting the Cinderella big white puffy dress.

I changed my mind when I saw this dress. I tried on three dresses. The first one (light pink on- first pict) is the one I bought. The second one is a Betsey Johnson classic (so the lady said) and I really loved it. The last one looked beautiful on the manican but disastrous on me.

Let me explain my dress journey. Me go into store. Me find nothing. Me go home sad. Not the case today. Originals is located super far up queens street and I totally would have never discovered it until someone showed me. I was never thinking pink for sure... or even short for that matter. But I have the best idea for my Prom look and I'm sooo excited! I am going to be a crazy ballerina princess in this dress.

Bright Colours

My friend Jasmyn showed me her prom dress and it was from this great company called Jeovani. There affordable and have some very vibrant stuff. Although the dresses are great I really love the models in these shots. The girl in red has such a phonominal pose its increadible!
